American Airlines passenger attempts jumping off plane in mid-flight

An American Airlines First Class passenger was duct-taped after she hysterically attempted to open the aircraft door inflight.

This happened Monday, 12, 2021 while American Airlines Flight AA1774 was en route to Charlotte from Dallas Fort Worth.

The female passenger reportedly had an inflight mental breakdown.

She first physically attacked a flight attendant and then attempted opening the forward boarding door of the aircraft but she was later restrained and duct taped to her seat by other passengers onboard.

While in that situation, she accused a flight attendant and even but her hand in the process.

A Tick-Tock user @lol.ariee who happened to be on board the flight filmed the unfolding incident.

The Tick-Tock video immediately went viral on social media, and the woman was heard screaming the following words according to an eyewitness account:

“She was saying, ‘I need to get off this plane,’ and she went up to the exits and started banging on the doors, saying, ‘You need to let me off this plane!’.

Flight AA1774 landed safely at Charlotte without any further incident.
