The Archbishop in the video message started with: “My dear dear dear loved ones, this is just a video shot, from the Recovery Gardens at the Ga East Infectious Disease Centre, where I am undergoing treatment for COVID-19.

I just thought sending this message out will let you know I have survived it for 5 days, and therefore I encourage anybody who is afflicted not to be afraid because, yes COVID is real, but healing is equally real” he said.

He advised all to adopt what he called the 3-P’s which are “Prayer, Protocols, and Prayer.” to curb the spread of the lethal and deadly coronavirus.

He also urged citizens to keep supporting the doctors and health personnel and who are fighting at the forefront of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Let us continue praying, thanking God for the doctors, the nurses, the front line workers and the great good job they are doing. They are really stretched out and stressed out, they need our prayerful support, love and concern for themselves and anything God can help them to do.” he said.

It is alleged that the Archbishop may have e contracted the disease shortly after attending the state funeral of the late president Jerry John Rawlings.

People let’s get serious about this lethal and deadly disease by remaining vigilant and extra careful in whatever we do.

Take this piece of advice from the Archbishop very seriously and protect yourself especially when you are out there in public going about your usual daily activities.

Make sure you adhere strictly to the Covid-19 safety protocols as prescribed, because from the video posted, it was very clear and evident that COVID-19 is no respecter of persons. COVID is REAL!
