Livingstone Etse Satekla stage name Stonebwoy is a Ghanaian Afro-pop, dancehall artiste who comes from the Volta Region. He was delivered on March 5, 1988, in Ashaiman, a suburb of Accra, and is the fourth in a family of seven children. Way back in class four, young Livingstone conceived his love and passion for creative arts, having happily scripted and acted for the drama club of his school and also put words together in a musical manner.

As a young boy, Livingstone never stopped singing songs composed by industry people he considered as mentors and some he wrote himself. Stonebwoy shines as one unique craftsman with a sense of direction and purpose. His two albums (currently available on iTunes) Grade #1 and Necessary Evil are dazzling debuts that announced the arrival of a talented and significant artist, marking his territory. He recorded his first track in a family studio ten years ago.

First-year in senior high school Stonebwoy met with Duncan a popular DJ at the time who was the host of a rap battle program. That was the emergence of the BHIM nation president. As Stonebwoy recalls “I had to battle my way every week to remain at the top without loosing”. Dr. Cryme, Sarkodie, and many others were part of the rap battle. Stonebwoy never looked back since then and kept winning to date.

Second-year in high school StoneBwoy released Makuma (meaning my heart) and several other songs on the radio. By the time He completed high school in 2007 Stonebwoy had amassed a large following of fans as an underground artist and released Empress which raised him up high in the Ghanian and African market and is still loved by music fans all over.

After, things moved like lightning and Stonebwoy worked for S24 records in 2008 and later moved to join Samini and his High-Grade Family music group. Stonebwoy remained a good student and learned a lot from his experiences in the music industry in Ghana and when the time came in 2012 Livingstone moved to start his Burniton Music group(BMG). Knowing how though things were going to be as it is with all startups, Stonebwoy and his team worked day and night to reach the level of success they have today.

Now, the hard work is obviously rewarding for Burniton Music Group with collaborations with international acts from Ghana, Africa, UK, Us, Jamaica such as Keri Hilson, Sean Paul Jah Vinci, Trey Songz, Gappy Ranks, Randy Valentine, Sakordie, Wayne Wonder, Laza Morgan, Samini, Obrafour, Black Prophet, R2Bees, Patoranking, General Pype Stylogee, Burna Boy, Morgan Heritage, Chris Martin, I Octane, Kranium, and many others.
