The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially cleared the Accra Sports Stadium to host Ghana’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying clash with Sudan on October 11, 2024. This key Group F fixture will see the Black Stars attempt to revive their campaign after a slow start in the qualifiers.
CAF’s approval follows an inspection of both the Accra and Cape Coast stadiums, with the latter being rejected. The Black Stars will now face the Falcons of Jediane in Accra, after temporary approval for Baba Yara Stadium was revoked.
