Chelsea is set to welcome back Reece James to the matchday squad as Chelsea’s trip down the road to the craven cottage. The Chelsea gaffer, Frank Lampard has confirmed the return of Reece James to his squad ahead of Chelsea’s west London derby with Fulham on Saturday.
In Case You Missed:
The right-back has been out of action for the last three blues games with a combination of knee and hamstring issues but was pictured in training at Cobham on Wednesday. The manager said at his pre-match press conference “We’re all good. Ngolo Kante is suspended but he’s back in training. So we are all good”.
Chelsea will be without Kante for Saturday’s game after he picked up his fifth booking of the season in the defeat to Manchester City. He’s also struggling with a hamstring problem that may have ruled him out of the game anyway had he not been banned.
Andrea’s Christensen is also in contention for a return to the squad after his knee injury. Lampard also confirmed the Danish defender injury-free.
