DKB Pleads For Mercy For Akuapem Poloo, Trashes Child Right International

Comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney AKA DKB has lashed out at the conviction of Akuapem Poloo by the court after she posted a naked picture of herself and her son to mark his 7th birthday.

On 14th April 2021, Justice Christina Cann convicted Akuapem Poloo at the Accra circuit court and remanded her in prison after she pleaded guilty to all three charges.

Her final judgement will be on Friday 16th April 2021.

Derrick Kobinna expressed his anger over why some Ghanaians always bring their fellow Ghanaians down.

DKB said he doesn’t understand why a group calling themselves child protection organization will send a single mother to jail and claim they are protecting the rights of the child.

“Who will take care of the boy when the mother is in jail” He Quizzed.

Angry DKB said there are people with blood on their hands that need the Child right organization to fight for them.

He asked if Akuapem Poloo’s son cried out for help after his mother posted the naked picture on her Instagram account.

The ‘headmaster’ however pleaded with Ghanaians to join hands with the #MercyforAkuapemPoloo so the court will temper justice with mercy by at least coming up with a lenient sentence such as; fine or giving out a community service punishment to the video vixen to serve as a deterrent to others going forward.
