Founder of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah, has delivered a thought-provoking message dwelling on faith, resilience and the importance of maintaining composure in the face of adversity.
In a recent address to his followers, Owusu Bempah stated his experiences with political figures and offered words of wisdom to those facing insults and criticism.
During his speech, the well-known Ghanaian prophet encouraged his followers not to retaliate when they hear negative remarks concerning him.
“When you go out and hear people insulting me, just keep quiet and don’t reply,” Owusu Bempah advised.
He further noted that insults, though often hurtful, do not define one’s worth or mission. Reflecting on the trials faced by spiritual figures throughout history, he reminded his audience, “Even Jesus Christ was insulted and spat upon, and I am not greater than Him.”
He recounted a meeting with former President John Mahama, where he was insulted by supporters of Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Wontumi.
Despite the chastisement he faced during this clergy meeting, the prophet remained calm, underscoring his commitment to promoting peace and understanding.
In addressing his absence from a recent clergy gathering with Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, Prophet Owusu Bempah clarified that his non-attendance was not deliberate. Rather, he had not been invited to the event, despite his close proximity in Accra and his prior involvement in spiritual matters related to Bawumia.
This explanation removed all rumors that he was distancing himself from certain political leaders.
Significantly, Owusu Bempah reaffirmed his neutrality, stating, “I am not a prophet of any political party, but a prophet of God.”
His interactions with political figures, including both President Mahama and Vice President Bawumia, have consistently reflected this stance.
He stated that his initial role is to offer spiritual guidance, regardless of political affiliations, and that his willingness to meet with various leaders showcases his dedication to serving God’s will, not political interests
