Vincent Sowah Odotei, a former MP for La Dade Kotopon and ex-Deputy Minister of Communication, has declared his intention to run as an independent candidate in the upcoming election. Known as ‘Obama,’ Odotei, who served as MP from 2017 to 2020 under the NPP, says he has unfinished business in the constituency.
After losing the NPP primaries in 2020 and facing internal party disputes, Odotei now seeks to complete the developmental projects he initiated during his first tenure and represent La Dade Kotopon in the ninth Parliament.
