Most Ghanaians are anticipating a partial lockdown and a ban on social gatherings as they await the President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to address the natoin on measures taken to curtail the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
However, Ghanaians are expecting the President to put restrictions in place as the country records new COVID-19 cases each day.
This will be the President’s 23rd address since Ghana recorded cases of COVID-19.
Currently,the number of active cases in the latest update provided by the Ghana Health Service is 4,665 with 405 deaths.
The Ghana Medical Association has threatened they will stop working if the government does not ban public gathering because they are tired of the numbers at the various hospitals
