Kudus Mohammed Apologises to Ghanaians After Disappointing AFCON Qualifiers

Black Stars star player, Mohammed Kudus, has expressed the team’s deep disappointment and frustration following the unsatisfactory results in their two Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifying matches against Sudan. Ghana drew 0-0 in Accra and suffered a 2-0 defeat in the away fixture, leaving the nation frustrated with their qualification prospects.

In a heartfelt apology on behalf of the team, Kudus acknowledged the dissatisfaction felt by fans and admitted that the players share those feelings. “Despite our utmost effort and dedication, the results did not reflect our aspirations or the pride we have in representing our beloved nation. We understand the disappointment and frustration this has caused, and we share those feelings,” he said.
