A violent clash between supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has left nine people injured in Mamobi, a suburb of Accra, on Sunday, October 13.
According to a police statement, seven of the injured have been treated and discharged, while two remain in the hospital receiving care. The police have assured the public that calm has been restored in the area and an intelligence-led operation is underway to apprehend the identified perpetrators. The authorities have vowed to bring those responsible to justice.
