PassionAir Makes History with All-Female Flight Crew.

PassionAir operated it’s first ever all-female crewed flight on Saturday, February 20, 2021 on a Bombardier Q400 type aircraft.


The flight, OP 178 from Accra to Tamale, was entirely “womanned” by women from the flight deck to the cabin.


In a statement sighted on the airline’s social media page by, Captain Eva Gichuru, pilot-in-command of the flight made a profound statement.

“This flight indicates that, whatever men can do, women can do and even better when given equal opportunities”, she said.
