President Mahama Reveals $1.7 Billion Needed to Complete Abandoned Agenda 111 Projects

President John Dramani Mahama has announced that his government requires a total of $1.7 billion to complete the abandoned Agenda 111 projects initiated by the previous NPP government.

According to President Mahama, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, led by former President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, only completed 10% of the projects, leaving 90% unfinished.

The NPP government launched these hospital projects during the emergence of COVID-19, aiming to bring quality healthcare delivery to every Ghanaian’s doorstep. However, the projects remained incomplete.

In a meeting with the Christian Council of Ghana on Monday, February 24, President Mahama revealed that despite the previous government’s efforts to start the hospital projects, many remain unfinished.
