Scheduled Flights cancelled by PassionAir due to operational challenges
The management of domestic airline, PassionAir has indicated that all flights scheduled for today, Thursday, 10 June 2021 had to be cancelled due to operational challenges.
A statement issued by the airline said:
“We wish to emphasise that the safety of our passengers and staff is always our priority, and we are working diligently to ensure the safe, quick and smooth resumption of flights”.
“Kindly contact us on 0800 221 221 or your travel agent to ascertain the status of your flights”.
“We sincerely apologise for the disruptions, and regret any inconveniences caused,” the statement added.
PassionAir is a domestic airline of Ghana with its head office based in Accra, Ghana. Its main hub is based at Kotoka International Airport in Accra since it was incorporated in 2017 and commenced operations in 2018. It is the second largest airline in Ghana, having transported 213,022 passengers in 2019.
The airline is owned by Eddy Annan, a Ghanaian businessman and entrepreneur. PassionAir currently operates 2 Bombardier turboprop aircraft namely the Dash 8 Q400 and the Q300.
