Thiago Silva selected Chelsea great Eden Hazard when asked which ex-Blues player he would pick to be back at Stamford bridge.
Silva, 36 is a senior center-back in the current Blues squad and is an important player within Lampard’s first eleven. Silva was asked in a hypothetical situation which former Chelsea player would he re-sign if he could bring back anyone “Hazard” he emphatically responded.
Silva is a legend at PSG after spending most of his carrier with them and played alongside some world class talent domestically and internationally.
Hazard certainly fits into the category of Chelsea’s modern breeds and left the London club in 2019 to join Real Madrid. He is a left-winger that scored 110 goals and 92 assists in 350 appearances for Chelsea.
It’s likely impossible for anybody to fill his replacement at Chelsea, but upcoming Christian Pulisic is the current player with that kind of pressure on his shoulders to replace Eden Hazard.
