THOUSANDS BENEFIT FROM URSULA’S SCHOLARSHIP IN ABLEKUMA WEST

Thousands of students have benefitted from the scholarship scheme established by the Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma West Constituency Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, MP since 2013.

A section of the beneficiaries received cheques from Mrs. Owusu-Ekuful’s office for their fees posted on her facebook page Wednesday, January 27, 2021.

Miss. Theodora Boakye, an inhabitant of Glefe and a fourth-year student at the KNUST Medical School had her basic education at the Gbegbeyise Basic School, a public basic school in Ablekuma West. She proceeded to Nsaba Presby Senior High School where she had 8A’s after her WASSCE and gained admission to study Medicine in KNUST.

According to her, the Ablekuma West MP’s scholarship scheme will ease the payment of fees burden on her as such has always been a struggle.

Several of the beneficiaries thanked the MP for the gesture and promised to learn hard and become useful citizens to the constituency.
