Ghanaian US-based news commentator, Twene Jonas has added his voice to the punishment meted out to Captain Smart over his critical commentary on national affairs.
According to him, it will be in the best interest of Dr. Kwaku Oteng who happens to be the CEO of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) to go and apologize to Captain Smart.
He also advised him to bring him back on air as soon as possible because Captain Smart is one of the few people who speak the truth about the incompetency of the government of Ghana.
While expressing his sentiments on how the leaders in Ghana have ruined the country with their incompetence, Twene Jonas advised that Captain Smart be brought back as soon as possible.
According to him, Captain Smart did nothing wrong as he’s just a freedom fighter who is bringing to light the ills of the country, therefore, he should be recalled to post.

Recall, the news of Captain Smart’s suspension was broken by IMANI Ghana’s Franklin Cudjoe. He took to his Facebook to reveal that he had a conversation with the radio personality only to be informed that he has been suspended from his post.
He wrote; “Had a worrying conversation moments ago. Captain Smart’s boss has allegedly asked him to go off air for a while as a result of undue pressure that has been piled on him by ‘high ranking officials in government’. Captain Smart’s crime, allegedly, is that his usual critical commentary on national affairs, is making government unpopular. Really? I hope it is not some over zealous politicians who made those calls. Either way, it paints a gravely intolerant picture. #Fixitnow!”
