Western Regional Peace Council Chairman Reported Dead.

News monitored from a Takoradi-based radio station Skyy Power FM has confirmed a story that indicates that the Chairman of the Western Regional Peace Council, Reverend John Ernest Kwofie has died.

Details surrounding his unfortunate demise is quite scanty, but it was reported that he died Wednesday, February 17, 2021, after a short illness.

The late Reverend John Ernest Kwofie was also a member of the Western Regional Peace Advisory Council and the Regional Multi-Sectoral Commission on Children. He played a very important role in preaching peace and fair play during the preparations towards the recently held 2020 general elections in December last year.

Reverend Ernest Kwofie, in private life, was a Senior Pastor at the First Baptist Church at Bakaekyir, Sekondi.
